Key Responsibilities:
- We are currently looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to join our engineering team.
- Primarily the role will be working on variety of programmes/supplier work (1st tier supplier work).
- It will be based onsite at a major OEM
- The Graduate Engineer will be working within a small team
- The Graduate Engineer will start off shadowing one of the Engineers and support them by preparing presentations and attending meetings etc.
- Fairly quickly the Graduate Engineer will be given responsibility for several components eventually leading to responsibility for complete systems.
Typical everyday tasks will include:
- Developing concepts and designing components.
- Completing design studies and presenting these.
- Liaising with other Engineers and CAD group.
- Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
- Completing assigned tasks as directed.
- Analysing metrics and data.
- Understanding and analysing CAE reports.
- Liaising with manufacturing.
- Meeting suppliers
- Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
