Graduate Engineer / Quality Engineer

Position Title: Quality Engineer Duration: Contract Project manage the quality aspects to NPI and Prototype manufacture. Governance authority on quality elements of the NPI process with key focus on: Comprehensive engineering drawings and specifications Design Quality methods Quality methods for handover to Production Prototype manufacture and control Embed a right first-time approach into the Product Development Process and Prototype Manufacture with the effective use of quality tools in New Product Introduction (NPI); supporting the NPI activity to achieve results as the business matures through education, effective governance and achieving stakeholder buy-in of the new process. You will have proven experience gained in a manufacturing quality environment within the Automotive industry. Experienced in the application of quality tools essential to New Production Introduction – DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plans Knowledge and use of statistical analysis and process capability studies would be beneficial Contechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
