Position Title: Durability & Robustness Programme Leader
Duration: Contract
Location: Gaydon

Duties
- This role is within the Durability & Robustness attribute which is part of the wider Driven Attribute Integration organisation of the Client.
- The Programme leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway
- Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved
- Detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests & driven vehicle DV activities
- Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets
- Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues
- Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports
- Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary

Education Required
- Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies
- Understanding of Durability & Strength principles
- Project management of complex engineering test activities
- Experience of problem solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc.
- Understanding of Systems engineering principles and delivery
- Microsoft package elements Power Point and Excel
- Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles
- Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience
