For the development trimmer role, our Client requires a highly skilled individual for seat development, with patterning, sewing and component trimming capabilities. The role involves working with our technical specialist to deliver feasibility studies through physical seats.

  • Automotive Patterning - Seats
  • High level of machine sewing
  • Previous experience working in automotive design environment

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Experience of full trimming full seats from patterning to finishing and flitting.
  • Experience of production and manufacture processes for seats
  • Engineering capability for seat functionality (airbags, climate)
  • Previous experience of working with leather, PVC's and textiles.
  • Ability to be able to read and interpret rendered designs, 3D CAD, drawings and colour call outs.
  • Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
  • Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office 365 experience
  • Experience of development and production for accessories
  • Knowledge of mass production process and procedures, in depth knowledge of textile
