I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Instrumentation Applications Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As Instrumentation Applications Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- Overseeing the installation of data-loggers and measurement sensors to primarily prototype vehicles, to allow the accurate capture of test data, which allows internal engineering customers to validate vehicle, system and component performance
Skills required
- Detailed understanding of data logging, sensors and interfaces.
- Be it in Automotive or other applications
- Knowledge of system architectures and how to interact with them, CAN, CANFD, FlexRay and XCP/CCP etc
- Knowledge of vehicle/prototype engineering
Experience Required:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience required.
- Experience of data acquisition software
- Strong IT skills
Experience Preferred:
- Good interpersonal skills, administrative skills, experience of cloud based data management.
- Experience of test data display and presentation.
- Project management skills.
Additional Information:
- On site 5 days a week
