Automotive Technical Recruiter

Location: Basildon / Warwick with hybrid working

Responsible to: Recruitment Manager

Contechs is a specialist recruitment consultancy servicing global players in the automotive sector. Our success is driven by achieving preferred supplier relationships with OEMs and first tier suppliers.

Following increased business demands we require an ambitious and dynamic Technical Recruiter. The successful candidate must have previous experience within an automotive or technical recruitment field. Educated to degree level, or of graduate calibre with demonstrated ability to learn and grow; you will be proactive with excellent planning and motivational skills. You will also be PC literate (Ms Office – Word, Internet Outlook). In return we offer a competitive remuneration package including commission and the opportunity to join a successful, happy team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all recruitment activities; carrying out search and selection of personnel to meet requirements, arrange interviews, completion of appropriate paperwork, tracking candidate and vacancy requirement progress.
  • Support both permanent and contract vacancies.
  • Provide information relating to recruitment regulations and legislations, for example AWR and IR35.
  • Liaison with Contechs Senior Management Team.
  • Rate negotiation with candidates to achieve preferable margins for Contechs.
  • Responsible for the update of information on the recruitment database.
  • Working within Contechs\’ defined KPI deck.
  • Compliance with Company Management Systems supporting improvement, identifying and reporting issues.

Education

  • Ideally degree level

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years Recruitment Experience within a technical arena
  • Previous experience working towards a defined target / KPIs
  • Formal Recruitment training preferable.
  • PC literate.
  • Full valid UK driving licence

Additional Information

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
  • Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 (with a half-hour lunch) and Friday 8:00-13:30
