The Opportunity: Are you a problem solver? Do you enjoy applying physics/maths to solve real world problems? Join our Client's team and you'll have an exciting opportunity to optimise their vehicle efficiency by the application of engineering physics. The team is responsible for managing the kinetic efficiency of our vehicles. Our Client is looking for someone who enjoys drawing conclusions based on simulation, analysis and test data. You'll enjoy working alongside other departments to ensure the most efficient solutions are realised, whilst preserving the attribute balance of vehicles.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Applicants should be self-starting and motivated to deliver class leading vehicle efficiency.
  • Strong technical background, with proven experience in engineering optimisation and data analysis.
  • Experienced in all aspects of road load analysis for efficiency calculations.
  • Experience with engineering simulation tools and drawing conclusions from simulation results.
  • Experience of systems engineering/integration - from target setting and decomposition through to component and system performance validation.
  • Ensure the interests of the kinetic energy attribute are represented in cross departmental meetings.
  • Confident at presenting to all levels within the company.
