Duration: Contract

Location: Surrey

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow C-code generation and analysis
  • Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques
  • Testing SW components within the system on the HIL
  • SW components verification & validation against requirements
  • Lead technical discussions with suppliers
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver software components

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline - mechanical, automotive, etc.
  • Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation
  • Support vehicle software testing and calibration
  • Excellent knowledge of suspension control and/or ESP software and calibration
  • Excellent control theory background
  • Good knowledge of automotive systems at system architecture level
  • Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications
  • Model-based control software development and verification
  • AUTOSAR software components generation and integration
  • Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration
  • Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE
  • Demonstrative experience in the automotive sector
