Research Partner (Food Sciences) Full Time – 36 hours per week Based in Reading £20.94 to £26.18 per hour – dependent on experience Position Overview: Contechs are seeking a Research Partner to provide a range of scientific research, analysis and consultancy services to the FMCG sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FMCG Leader who will help to secure and deliver a range of projects in Food R&D and innovation, through building strong relationships, harnessing external links in the FMCG sector, industry bodies and government grant support. Key Responsibilities: * Lead & contribute to project activities, such as meetings, preparation of communications i.e. newsletters, surveys, emails and network materials * Co-ordinate & contribute to workshops, events & meetings. * Conduct activities to support with building the network community * Contribute to project administration tasks e.g. collating slides for project review meetings, chasing actions, collating metrics * Contribute to the identification of new grants competitions, scope projects and support with bid writing Skills needed: * Strong planning with attention to detail skills, with a results-oriented mindset. * Scientific food background preferred * Meeting & network event management experience * Good communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities * Team player but can work on own initiative * Experience in IUK grant writing and/or project management for projects funded with IUK grants– preferred * Knowledge of food industry – preferred Excellent Opportunity with immediate starts available
