Role Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Engineer to support Performance End of Line (PEOL) and End of Line (EOL) testing, commissioning, and fault resolution of high-voltage power systems. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role supporting both prototype and production build phases. The position is primarily focused on executing and supporting PEOL / EOL testing of HV power systems, with additional support to related battery and system-level testing as required.
The Engineer will be responsible for:
- Executing PEOL and EOL performance testing of high-voltage power systems
- Performing system-level diagnostics, fault finding, and root cause analysis
- Validating CAN and XCP communications and system interfaces
- Supporting EOL / PEOL test execution, result analysis, and reporting
- Analysing test data to identify performance issues and support engineering resolution
- Supporting battery or subsystem testing as required to validate PEOL outcomes
- Developing and maintaining commissioning procedures, test reports, and integration documentation
- Interfacing with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of milestones
Technical Requirements:
- Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, power electronics, and energy storage systems
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, National Instruments DAQ, multimeters, XCP and CAN analysis software (e.g. Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape)
- Familiarity with HV safety standards and best practices
- Strong problem-solving capability in a fast-paced technical environment
- Experience conducting data analysis and test scripting
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in prototype or low-volume production EV environments
- Experience supporting EOL systems in manufacturing or build settings
- Battery pack or HV subsystem validation testing experience
Qualifications & Safety:
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Formal training and experience working with high-voltage systems
- Strong adherence to HV safety practices and procedures
