I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Germany, who are looking for a Dealer Development Lead to join their team.
Job Description
As Dealer Development Lead, your main responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a new, growing group of German dealerships.
- Monitor and analyse dealer sales performance, and work collaboratively to improve results.
- Provide clear action plans and support for underperforming dealers.
- Support the implementation of sales campaigns and product launches, at a local level.
- Identify opportunities to improve retail coverage, brand visibility and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to dealer appointment, onboarding or network change decisions, in your region.
Qualifications/Skills needed
- Knowledge of motorcycle products, retail operations, and dealership business models.
- Experience in sales reporting tools and CRM systems.
- Passion for the motorcycle industry and enthusiasm for engaging with customers and dealers alike.
- Proven experience in a field-based sales role, ideally within the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
- Ideally the individual would be based in the market, with knowledge of the local market and language.
