About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer to join their team

Job Description

As Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer, your main responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on testing of automotive infotainment systems, with a strong focus on active NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) technologies at both system and subsystem levels.
  • Taking ownership of test delivery and driving results, through rigorous validation and problem-solving.
  • Plan and execute test programmes for infotainment systems, particularly those involving active NVH technologies.
  • Ensure all testing is aligned with automotive quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify issues and drive improvements in system and subsystem performance.
  • Define and apply testing specifications for new and existing infotainment components.

Qualifications/Skills needed

Strong background in testing automotive infotainment systems, ideally with experience in active NVH technologies.

Execution-focused approach with the ability to manage and deliver test programmes independently.

Proficient in debugging and analysis.

Experience with audio systems and rig setup for validation.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence required.
