Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Buyer in the Aftermarket Department. Your proactive approach will help ensure timely procurement, optimal inventory levels, and strong supplier relationships.
Duties
- Assist in evaluating supplier options and conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Logistics, and Supply Chain to understand procurement needs
- Utilize ERP systems like SAP to process purchase orders and track inventory levels
- Support the management of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier communications
- Monitor logistics processes to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules effectively
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process to optimize efficiency
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with suppliers xgikmsk
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and merchandising practices
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Prior experience or familiarity with procurement or purchasing roles
