About the company: I am currently recruiting on behalf of an American client who was established in 1986. They support the design, engineering, testing, and validation of vehicles for the U.S. market and work closely with other global teams.
Job Description:
- Fully document vehicle repairs and modifications in a database environment
- Parts and equipment ordering
- Maintain shop equipment and tools
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop environment
- Travel up to 20% of time domestically and internationally
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working in automotive development or testing
- Experience with vehicle data acquisition systems, diagnostic tools, transducers, including thermocouples, pressure transducers, load cells, etc.
- Experience with all vehicle systems (engine, transmission, HVAC, chassis, electrical/body)
- PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent CAN tools and data analysis skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet time constraints
- Excellent vehicle diagnostic skills
- Automotive technology certification, degree, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills working in a culturally diverse environment
