Duties:
- Responsible for testing standard and/or custom products, devices, and/or hardware to assess their performance and reliability.
- Ensures products/devices are designed and implemented in accordance to established quality standards and specifications.
- Serves as a primary source for problem identification and improvement.
- Selects testing specifications for new/existing products/devices and ensures testing procedures are in compliance to industry standards.
- Documents procedures for all phases of testing and test results.
- Improves and automates the test methodology.
Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision, and coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
