About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a BOM Validation Engineer to join their team.
As BOM Validation Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Lead and manage BOM validation activities, in line with PI planning expectations.
- Arrange meetings with engineers, to validate parts.
- Raise issues using the AIMS tool or live engineering concerns.
- Create and publish master metrics via a night letter daily, during validation activities.
- Facilitate hand over meetings and confirm closure of AIMS, raised through validation.
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Strong project management and time/workload management skills ability to work alone.
- Ability to do complex data analysis, identify problems and develop effective solutions at pace.
- Aptitude for communication and the ability to articulate complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Excel (vlookup).
- Understanding of BOM usages.
- Experience of the Product Information processes and data structure would be an advantage.
