I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are looking for an R&D Engineering Manager to join their team.
Job Description:
- Improving or developing new products, components, equipment, systems, technologies or processes.
- Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established engineering standards.
- Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development.
- Analysing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry.
Qualifications/Skills needed:
- Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results.
- Organizing technical presentations to customers and/or industry groups.
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure targets are met.
- Managing product regulatory approval process.
