About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in West Midlands who are seeking a Programme Lead Engineer to join their team on a long-term rolling contract basis.

Position Description:

• This cross-functional role involves a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Responsibility for the planning and delivery of the properties required for a new product and delivery of the prototype phase of properties and test kits.
• Consolidation of test property requests into a cost and time optimised plan for the next phase of testing.
• Virtual builds using CAD visualisation systems.
• Integration of any plans into the prototype Bill Of Materials and part procurement systems.
• Leading and attending meetings with Programme Team, Test, and Development teams.

Skills Required:

• Robust and demonstrable Excel skills with an understanding of Bills Of Materials (BoMs) and CAD visualisation.
• Engineering and testing background.
• Project Management with robust cross-functional working.

Additional Information:

• Travel between the Clients’ sites in the West Midlands is required (Gaydon, Whitley, Royton, etc.).
• Some WFH is possible.
