I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Crewe who are seeking a Metrology Dimensional Analysis Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As Metrology Dimensional Analysis Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- Delivery of Meisterbock / Cubing & whole vehicle / single part dimensional analysis activities
- Responsible for all activities of a designated area of the property, vehicle or parts including measurement and analysis.
- Active participation in working with suppliers (internal & external) to maturate the quality status of parts and systems and with the ability to advise on measurement and checking fixture strategy
- Responsible for planning and managing project related activities on a weekly basis
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Expert knowledge in the use of optical & tactical metrology equipment.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of problem solving & analysis tools and there application.
- Ability to provide advanced root cause analysis of dimensional deviations for problems seen on parts, the property or vehicle
- Measurement skills across a wide range of technologies
- Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
