I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer, your main responsibilities include:
- Hands-on testing of automotive infotainment systems, with a strong focus on active NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) technologies at both system and subsystem levels.
- Taking ownership of test delivery and driving results, through rigorous validation and problem-solving.
- Plan and execute test programmes for infotainment systems, particularly those involving active NVH technologies.
- Ensure all testing is aligned with automotive quality standards and specifications.
- Identify issues and drive improvements in system and subsystem performance.
- Define and apply testing specifications for new and existing infotainment components.
Qualifications/Skills needed
- Strong background in testing automotive infotainment systems, ideally with experience in active NVH technologies.
- Execution-focused approach with the ability to manage and deliver test programmes independently.
- Proficient in debugging and analysis.
- Experience with audio systems and rig setup for validation.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence required.
