We are a new software electrical biased company looking to break into the automotive market. We are searching for an ADAS Director – Autonomous Driving systems to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be based within the electrical team working onsite at the production plant in Bristol.
Duration: Permanent
Location: Bristol or London
Responsibilities:
- Own the execution of automotive hardware modules and software deliverables.
- Drive talent acquisition of automotive technical team.
- Ensure customer and market requirements are mapped and executed in automotive products.
- Define selection of outsourced resource partners, develop relationship, framework and capability of partners including a clear performance management process.
Experience:
- 5 years of Director of Development or equivalent for ADAS and/or Autonomous Driving systems or ADAS-related sensing systems at a Tier 2, Tier 1 or OEM.
- Extensive experience of hardware and software integration and product delivery in ADAS specifically.
- Experience leading a technical team through an automotive tier 1 ADAS ECU development cycle is preferred. Will consider a senior engineer with relevant ECU technical development work history in a tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
- An experienced automotive leader of direct and indirect teams.
- Experienced in an OEM or tier one with a high level of systems technical knowledge.

- An excellent communicator with the ability to lead and motivate teams and work cross functionally.
- Capable of representing a world class brand.
- Seasoned technical leader in automotive setting with extensive familiarity of the automotive development process requirements.
- Has built an extensive network of technical resources that could be leveraged to accelerate automotive talent acquisition at the client.
- Well recognized in the industry as a technical leader as evidenced by exposure at automotive conferences or through publications and influence on technical direction at previous companies.
- Demonstrates a focus on delivering excellence in the automotive market.
