We are looking for a WELDER to join our Abingdon, VA plant. As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
- Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
- Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist, chains, etc.
- Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
- Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
About You We Require:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick welding.
- Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with precision instruments.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
