The Product Manager – Cleanroom EMEA is responsible for supporting the Global Product Manager in managing Contec's Cleanroom portfolio for the European, Middle Eastern, and African (EMEA) markets, in alignment with business unit objectives. This includes developing an understanding of market needs and identifying opportunities for strategic product line changes. The Product Manager EMEA will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to position products for success throughout their lifecycles from cradle to grave.
Responsibilities
- Gains an understanding of customers within the Cleanroom market and how their needs and preferences shape product development, positioning, and market messaging.
- Gains an understanding of the Cleanroom product portfolio and helps to identify opportunities for strategic product additions and/or discontinuations.
- Effectively communicates Voice-of-Customer (VOC) to internal stakeholders, including Quality, Research & Development, Marketing, and Operations.
- Supports new product launches by working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Marketing to develop literature and technical documentation for new product launches and existing products.
- Supports the Sales team by providing technical product information and creating Sales tools such as competitive cross-references and SWOT analyses.
- Gains an understanding of the Cleanroom pricing process and implements changes according to business objectives.
- Gives content to companywide sustainability goals where these impact product manufacture, use and disposal.
- Coordinates pricing activities for the EMEA Cleanroom Business Unit and effectively communicates price changes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec's quality goals.
- Others may be assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (BA. or BS.) from an accredited college or university; five (5) to seven (7) years of product management or related technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience within Cleanroom or other heavily regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge or ability to learn critical regulatory requirements (i.e., EPA, FDA, REACH, GHS, ISO) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Experience working within large-scale ERP Systems is preferred.
Physical Demands
- The associate is regularly required to communicate and convey information.
- The associate is occasionally required to be in a stationary position, move or traverse; prepare, inspect, observe, or detect physical and visual characteristics of raw materials, products, and processes.
- The associate must occasionally move up or transport up to 50 pounds.
This position, whether remote or in-office, requires a high level of performance with minimal supervision. Up to 15% domestic and/or international business travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
