We are looking for a full-time, permanent DevOps Engineer (all genders) based in Germany or the Czech Republic to start as soon as possible. We live remoteāfirst, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely onāsite due to your proximity to one of our locations.
As our new DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the development of technical concepts for new products and use your expertise to ensure that innovative solutions are seamlessly integrated into our existing infrastructure. By working closely with the development team, you help facilitate smooth collaboration, improve operational processes with your perspective and support effective alignment between Development and Operations. You will play a key role in building a technical ecosystem that enables rapid development while guaranteeing maximum stability. At the same time, you take responsibility for keeping our systems reliable, upātoādate and secure. This includes continuously maintaining and updating our infrastructure as well as ensuring strong security standards. You work handsāon, dive deep into both existing and new systems and bring a readiness to continuously learn and master new technologies and tools.
What Convinces Us
- At least three years of experience in a similar role, ideally with additional experience in hosting environments or cloud infrastructures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Fluent English skills and the willingness to use them within the team to enable effective collaboration
- A solid understanding of performance, security, and cost optimization in cloud environments
- Ideally, handsāon experience with technologies/tools such as Proxmox, Kubernetes, Ceph, GitLab CI/CD, CloudāInit, Redfish, VLAN, VPN, VNC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB clusters, ZFS, Cloudflare, API gateways, NATS, Keycloak
- A strong affinity for building efficient developer ecosystems and a high level of quality awareness
