Consyn.ai is an AI platform built for trade compliance and customs brokerage operations. We help importers, exporters, and brokers manage classification, duty recovery, and compliance workflows with far greater speed and accuracy than traditional manual processes allow.
We are already working with major logistics companies and customs brokerages, and have established traction in the UK market. Our founding team includes former heads of trade compliance from global pharmaceutical companies, alongside senior advisors drawn from across regulated supply chains.
We're looking for
A highly experienced trade compliance professional - someone with 25+ years in the field, a strong reputation, and a network built over a career - who has considered setting up their own consultancy but would rather not start from scratch.
You would lead the advisory practice and own the client relationships. We would provide the technology, the investment, and the operational infrastructure to run and scale it - so you can focus on the work and the clients rather than on building a business from the ground up.
Why now
The UK trade compliance landscape has shifted fundamentally and permanently. Post-Brexit customs obligations have created an entire layer of regulatory complexity that most businesses are still struggling to manage. US tariffs under IEEPA have added another dimension of exposure for UK exporters.
Meanwhile, the advisory market hasn't kept pace - the Big 4 are expensive and generalist, the specialist firms are capacity-constrained, and most mid-market importers and exporters are underserved. There is a significant gap between the advice businesses need and what is currently available to them at an accessible price point. That gap is the opportunity.
