About the Role

Join CES as a Purchase Ledger Clerk (Apprentice) and work alongside our experienced Finance team. You’ll support key finance operations, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and supplier record management. This opportunity is ideal for someone starting out in accounting and looking to build strong foundations within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the full procure-to-pay process
- Match purchase invoices to orders and delivery notes
- Input and reconcile invoices, credit notes, and payments using accounting software
- Maintain daily bank cash book entries and reconcile credit card statements
- Set up and manage supplier accounts
- Prepare BACS payment runs and generate remittances
- Support with month-end tasks, including accruals and reporting
- Handle finance-related queries and general admin tasks

- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
