At Consumer Intelligence, data anomalies aren’t just mistakes; they’re curiosities. The integrity of our insight, and the value of the data we collect, relies on our Data Services’ team maintaining a high standard of quality control. During this 6-month fixed term contract, you’ll be responsible for helping us ensure the data which powers our insight is accurate, and that anomalies and issues are promptly shared in the business to generate even more insight. You’ll help to manage day to day collections, oversee macro performance, and quality check large amounts of data collected from various sources. To do this well, you should be highly detail focussed, meticulous, and curious. This role is a great way to enter the world of data analysis, and is suitable for someone who wants to be a steady pair of hands in a small yet dynamic business.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement processes for the preparation, execution and quality checking of data collection cycles for benchmarking data
  • Periodically updating reference data sets such as vehicles, occupations and pet breeds
  • Maintain process documentation for areas where you take primary responsibility
  • Day to day liaison and issue resolution with support teams
  • Execute processes using company tools to deliver projects for clients

  • Confident Microsoft Office suite user
  • Strong technical/analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage and work with large data sets
  • Experience with Power BI and/or knowledge of the insurance market is advantageous

This is role is a 6-month fixed term contract, on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to a permanent role, and a salary of £22,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on the successful candidate. We are based in Bristol and are happy to accommodate hybrid or remote working as part of our output only working practices.
