There are very few technical roles in chilled food where you genuinely get exposure to a major retail customer, senior internal stakeholders, and the opportunity to influence standards across an entire operation. This Senior Technical Account Manager position offers exactly that.
We’re working with a large-scale food manufacturer supplying one of the UK’s most demanding retail environments. The role gives someone the chance to step into a highly visible position with real ownership, broad operational exposure, and a strong platform for further progression. The business itself is well established, heavily invested, and operates at significant scale.
You’ll be joining a team where technical functions are taken seriously and where the customer relationship sits at the centre of the operation rather than on the periphery. The position would suit someone already operating within chilled food manufacturing who wants broader exposure, more autonomy, and a role with genuine commercial visibility.
It is particularly well suited to individuals who enjoy working closely with both customers and operational teams, without becoming disconnected from the factory environment itself. Experience within retailer-facing technical, quality or account management roles within food manufacturing will be important, alongside a strong understanding of compliance, customer standards and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
