Ever looked at a B2B campaign and thought… this could be so much better?
Yeah, same. And so does our client…
They’re on the lookout for a Marketing Manager who gets that B2B doesn’t have to mean bland. Someone who can take a seriously smart payments and banking platform and build the kind of marketing campaigns that turn heads, spark interest and bring in revenue.
This is a business that helps some of the UK’s biggest names move money, process transactions and reward customers – and they want the world to know about it. You’ll be sitting within the central marketing team, reporting directly into the CMO, and taking full ownership of how this part of the business shows up in the market.
You’ll be crafting and delivering marketing plans that speak directly to corporate clients – the retailers, brands and businesses that need powerful payment solutions and the right partner to deliver them. Whether it’s a multi-channel campaign, a tightly worded press release or a pitch deck that seals the deal… you’ll be the one making sure the message lands with impact.
You’ll work closely with the heads of the Payments and Banking division to bring their commercial strategy to life through marketing. That means getting under the skin of their objectives and creating campaigns that support sales, boost adoption and drive real commercial outcomes.
Expect to collaborate with a talented team across creative, digital, CRM and UX. You’ll use data to track performance, spot opportunities, and make smart decisions about where to go next. You’ll also have a hand in shaping website content, developing PR and comms, and making sure the brand is represented consistently across every touchpoint.
This role’s ideal for someone with at least five years of marketing experience in a B2B setting. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, dealing with ambiguity and keeping momentum up even when things get busy. Excellent communication is a must – you’ll be writing, presenting and pitching a lot, so clarity, confidence and persuasion are key.
If you’ve worked with platforms like Salesforce, Mailchimp or Umbraco before, great. And if you’ve got experience in payments, fintech or anything vaguely technical, even better. But above all, we’re looking for someone with the right mindset – proactive, commercially switched on and ready to turn complex products into compelling propositions.
You’ll need to be in the Welwyn Garden City office twice a week, with the rest of your time yours to manage.
