Steaks sizzling on the grill, sausages stacked to the brim in the fridge, burgers flying off shelves every weekend… That’s the set up for a perfect weekend in the sun in my book. But, behind every product that ends up in a shopping basket there’s a whole team of clever clogs making smart decisions at speed. However, decisions don’t just get made willy nilly. No matter how smart someone is, data is key to making any decision……and in this role, you’ll be key in delivering quality data to teams like this.

We’re working with a big name in the UK meat production landscape to find a Commercial Analyst who can support the commercial team by turning raw data into useful information that shapes decisions, streamlines operations and strengthens performance. Your focus will be on one of the UK’s most iconic grocery retailers - Asda.

This is not a job for someone who wants to sit quietly in a corner with a spreadsheet. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with a fast-moving commercial team. This is for someone who wants to be right at the centre of the action; close to the numbers and to the people that make the decisions that matter.

Be on your toes! One moment you might be analysing promotional performance or identifying trends in customer demand. The next, you could be updating pricing files, supporting volume forecasting, or helping prepare insights for key customer meetings.

Work closely with senior leadership as well as teams across sales, supply chain, finance and production. Knowing your way around a calculator will be pretty crucial here!

We are looking for someone who is naturally analytical and eager to learn. You might have worked in a commercial or operational role before, or come from a background in finance, retail, supply chain or FMCG. Most importantly, you will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the drive to develop a career in the food industry.

This is your chance to build hands-on experience in a major food business, working on a retail account that is known across the UK. You will gain valuable exposure to commercial strategy, customer relationships and operational decision making - all while sharpening your skills and growing your confidence.

Apply now and take a bite out of your next big opportunity.
