Role Overview
Seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services. The EMT will assess patient conditions, deliver basic life support, administer medications, manage airways, and ensure safe transport to healthcare facilities. The role requires teamwork, critical thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity
- Provide immediate medical interventions and physical examinations
- Manage airways and administer medications as per protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient changes accurately
- Assist with patient lifting and transfer during transport
- Maintain equipment and work environment readiness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with EMT practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid EMT certification
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to emergency care
- Experience with medication administration is preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Previous EMS experience is a plus
Additional Details
This full-time or part-time position offers day and night shifts.
