Mobile Maintenance Electrician in Manchester

An excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to join an expanding national lighting maintenance company. The position of maintenance electrician is a mobile one to be based in the Redhill/M25area covering the south of M25/South of England.

CDL is a well-established national lighting maintenance company which has been trading for over 30 years. We are a respected provider of lighting maintenance solutions with an impressive customer base consisting of leading property companies, retail outlets and blue-chip clients.

We are looking for a skilled maintenance electrician who has good knowledge of lighting maintenance, to assist the exterior team of lighting engineers in both exterior lighting/controls in retail, leisure & business parks, and general office buildings.

A VW transporter van will be provided as your work vehicle.

Tasks will include general lighting maintenance & repairs (including emergency lighting repairs), fault finding, varying types of installation work.

You must be comfortable and willing to work at height (we provide IPAF training/PASMA training where required), preferably, inspection and testing competent and be reliable, self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.

• City and Guilds 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations
• NVQ 3/AM2 – Qualified electrician
• C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (preferred)
