An excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time electrician to join an expanding national lighting maintenance company. The position of a mobile maintenance electrician is ideally based in/around Leeds/Yorkshire Region. CDL is a well-established national lighting maintenance company which has been trading for over 30 years. We are a respected provider of lighting maintenance solutions with an impressive customer base consisting of leading property companies, retail outlets and blue-chip clients.
Job Specification:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician who has good knowledge of lighting maintenance, to assist the exterior team of lighting engineers maintaining exterior lighting for retail leisure, & business parks, as well as some general small office buildings. Full training/site familiarisation will be provided. A company phone, VW transporter van + fuel card will be provided as your company work vehicle. All PPE, testers and power tools will be provided for the job.
General tasks include:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Carry out various types of lighting maintenance repairs and installation works.
- Fault finding/diagnose faults on swa lighting circuits and controls.
- You should preferably have experience with Inspection and testing.
- Replacing all kinds of existing lights for new LED light fittings.
- Attend/contribute to team meetings, H & S, project discussions, and operational reviews.
Expected Salary: £41k- £43K Per Annum. 20 days paid holiday per annum + paid bank holidays, and Pension Scheme. General hours are 40-45 hours Per Week, Monday to Friday + Overtime.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
- City and Guilds 17th or 18th Edition.
- AM2 / 2391- Inspection and Testing preferred.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving and team working skills.
- To think on your own initiative.
- Self-motivated and have an ability to work well under pressure.
