We are currently working with a modern, tech-driven accountancy firm in Epsom that is looking to add a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant to their growing team. The firm has been expanding rapidly, achieving around 25% growth year-on-year, and they are now looking for a motivated accountant who wants to develop their career within a progressive and supportive practice environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction, autonomy in their work, and long-term progression within a business that genuinely invests in its people.
The Role
You’ll be working closely with a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services while building strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and statutory accounts
- Producing monthly management accounts including KPIs and analysis
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting payroll processing
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members
- Providing general advisory support to clients
- Managing a client portfolio
Who we are looking for
Ideally you will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills
- Experience managing client relationships
- Experience using Xero
