Join a fast-growing FMCG business whose premium product range is sold across foodservice, wholesale, and grocery retail. With ambitious expansion plans and a commitment to best-in-class operations, the brand is investing in bringing its supply chain fully in-house to support sustained growth.

As the Supply Chain & Operations Manager, you will be the operational backbone of the business. You’ll own day-to-day supply chain activities – managing third-party manufacturers and logistics partners, processing B2B orders, maintaining accurate stock and system data, and supporting production planning and purchasing. Your mission is to ensure timely order fulfilment, seamless data flow into finance, and strong collaboration with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders end-to-end, coordinating with the warehouse for dispatch.
  • Manage daily communications and issue resolution with 3PLs, warehouses, and customers.
  • Maintain inventory and order data across systems (IMS, EDI, accounting software).
  • Generate and issue invoices, credit notes, commercial paperwork, and supply chain reports.
  • Monitor Minimum Order Quantities, customer booking processes, and delivery tracking.
  • Reconcile stock monthly across all locations and update systems accordingly.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate monthly stock valuations and gross margin reporting.
  • Oversee warehouse stock transfers, kitting, rework, and batch holds.
  • Track stock rotation and shelf-life; proactively escalate out-of-stock risks.
  • Maintain SKU and product master data, including shelf-life, batch information, and pricing files.
  • Collate sales forecasts to generate a rolling 3-month production plan.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with UK and EU-based suppliers.
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries and book-in with warehouse or manufacturer.
  • Monitor supplier performance and investigate any delivery or invoice discrepancies.
  • Provide weekly demand forecasts to manufacturers and maintain clear communication channels.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, ensuring documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Support the Finance team at month-end with stock reports, reconciliations, and cost data.
