I'm working with a luxury brand and due to continued growth, they're looking for a Product Developer to add to their growing design function. This role will work closely with senior leadership, including the Design Director and Founder, playing a pivotal role in bringing innovative product concepts to life with precision, creativity, and commercial awareness.

The Role
As Product Developer, you will take ownership of the product lifecycle from initial concept through to production. Acting as a key link between Design, Merchandising, Sales, and Production, you will ensure seamless communication, efficient workflows, and the successful delivery of each collection. You will support the Design Director by tracking development progress, managing timelines, and ensuring that every product is executed to the highest standards - both creatively and technically.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full product development process from concept to production handover
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on product vision, feasibility, and delivery
- Translate creative concepts into commercially viable, production-ready products
- Build and maintain development timelines, ensuring key milestones are met
- Oversee sampling stages, fittings, and product refinements
- Create and manage detailed technical packs, including fabrics, trims, and construction
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure clarity, quality, and on-time delivery
- Maintain consistency and quality across the collection
- Support cost management and margin targets without compromising design integrity
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Product Development role within luxury fashion
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and technical detailing
- Experience working within a fast-paced, founder-led or design-driven environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance creativity and cost
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
Working 4 days office, 1 home but full-time during busy periods.
