This is an exceptional opportunity to join a luxury consumer brand in a pivotal operational leadership role. As Operations & Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of inventory, fulfilment, warehousing, third-party logistics partnerships, and order management across multiple sales channels. Operating at the intersection of supply chain, ecommerce, retail operations, and customer experience, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently through the business while maintaining exceptional service levels and commercial performance. This is a 12 months FTC covering a maternity leave. This person must be able to start within a month.
Key Responsibilities
- Own inventory, fulfilment, and logistics operations across multiple sales channels, ensuring strong product availability and operational efficiency.
- Lead relationships with external logistics and fulfilment partners, driving service excellence, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee stock management, forecasting alignment, replenishment planning, and inventory accuracy across the business.
- Ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer delivery performance across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, using data and insight to drive efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to optimise processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain.
- Manage transportation, warehousing, and returns operations, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop a small operations team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with commercial, finance, planning, retail, and customer service teams to support business growth and operational performance.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, inventory management, warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, or supply chain leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel operations across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale environments.
- Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and external operational partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making.
- Experience managing inventory planning, stock control, and operational reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions and levels.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of operational cost drivers.
