I'm looking for an experienced Procurement Analyst to support a healthcare brand with their operations across the UK and Nordic regions. In this role, you will lead procurement activities with a strong focus on local suppliers in the UK and Nordics while also contributing to global procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate has expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, thrives in an international team environment, and preferably has experience in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the master catalogue of approved products and services up-to-date.
  • Ensure clinics have easy access to current items and pricing, adding or retiring items in the system as needed.
  • Review and approve purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, budget limits, and vendor selections before release.
  • Serve as the escalation point for procurement-related issues.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and suppliers to resolve urgent stock-outs, quality issues, or delivery delays, minimizing operational impact.
  • Track, analyse, and report key performance indicators.
  • Evaluate local spending categories to uncover cost-saving or value-enhancing opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including market research.
  • Collaborate with the global procurement team on projects such as vendor agreements, system roll-outs, and policy alignment, sharing local insights to inform global decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or managing medical or laboratory supplies.
  • Familiarity with the UK and Nordic healthcare market.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team and coordinate across countries.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret spend data and KPIs.
  • Capable of strategic category planning and operational day-to-day decision-making.
  • Able to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, communicating clearly at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems and tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities across countries.
  • Problem-solving mindset with resilience under pressure or during supply incidents.
