Merchandiser – Multi-Category Consumer Brand

London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote | Flexi hours

We’re partnering with a fast-paced and rapidly growing multi-category brand to find a talented Merchandiser to lead their merchandising function. This is a pivotal role with full ownership of budget planning and range development across three key sales channels: e-commerce, marketplaces, and wholesale.

If you have implemented a merchandising system to enhance optimize of inventory management, then this is the job for you! My client is seeking a data-driven, forward-thinking technical Merchandiser to implement robust merchandising structures that will play a key role in delivering the company’s ambitious 2–3-year growth strategy.

You’ll play a critical part in driving commercial strategy, shaping assortments, and ensuring optimal stock performance in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop commercially strong product ranges aligned with overall financial targets.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to define financial sales targets and stock planning.
  • Lead weekly trade reporting, reviewing sales performance and stock flow.
  • Formulate and deliver short and long-term merchandising strategies across e-commerce, marketplaces, and wholesale.
  • Collaborate with marketplace partners to identify and act on sales and profit opportunities.
  • Oversee inventory management across UK, EU, and all channels, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Approve promotional strategies that protect profit margins and uphold brand positioning.
  • Partner closely with e-commerce, brand, and buying teams to provide data-driven insights.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance merchandising efficiency through new tools and technologies.

Team Management:

  • Work closely with the Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandising Admin Assistant to drive planning, range building, and trading effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a head office Merchandising role, with marketplace and wholesale exposure.
  • Strong analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and understanding of trend-led product environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with system integrations and merchandising software.
