Consumer Exec has partnered with a multinational e-commerce company to recruit a 12 month interim Head of Commercial Finance/Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This position manages a team of 2/3 that has responsibility for commercial finance globally. The role will be responsible for all commercial finance/FP&A as well as full P&L responsibility down to margin.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key business stakeholders, inputting on commercial discussions, decision support, and anticipating issues
  • Develop and enhance the Business Partnering team
  • Ensure the business has well-constructed business plans and budgets including risk and opportunities
  • Lead monthly commercials in board meetings
  • Deliver an accurate understanding of financial & business performance
  • Deliver commercial business partnering across the buying and merchandising teams

Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification or overseas equivalent
  • Retail or consumer experience a must (working with Buying & Merchandising teams)
  • Ecommerce experience a nice to have
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong commercial and strategic sense
  • Gravitas to manage senior stakeholders

Location: Central London - 4 days per week in office

Duration: 12 months
