Consumer Additions are partnered with a well-known, fast growth beauty brand who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner into the team based in Central London.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Act as a financial advisor to commercial teams, influencing strategic decisions with data-driven insights.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate promotions, pricing strategies, and product profitability.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support new product launches, category performance, and investment opportunities.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for revenue, margin, and operating expenses.
- Track key performance indicators and analyse variances against budget/forecast.
- Develop insightful reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Support strategic planning with scenario analysis and financial projections.
- Drive margin improvement initiatives by analysing cost structures and pricing strategies.
- Evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns, trade investments, and promotional spend.
- Build strong relationships with commercial teams, acting as the finance lead in cross-functional meetings.
- Communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders to support decision-making.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience in commercial finance.
- Strong experience in FMCG, preferably within the Beauty, Cosmetics, or Personal Care sector.
- Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to business partner with sales, marketing, and operation teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, promotions, and margin optimisation.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial systems (NetSuite or similar), and data visualisation tools (Power BI).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to simplify and feedback to senior stakeholders.
