Consumer Exec are currently retained by a high‑growth SME fashion brand to find a CFO/COO. The brand trades mainly through DTC with a growing wholesale channel and is looking to grow in current markets as well as internationally. The business is looking to double in size in the next 2‑3 years and is looking for an exceptional CFO/COO to manage finance and operations. The successful candidate MUST have DTC experience and also fashion experience, understand the cyclical nature of fashion and the cash requirements of a small growing fashion business. Unfortunately, candidates without this experience will not be considered.
The Role
We’re hiring a CFO/COO to lead Finance, Operations, and Stock with a strong commercial focus on DTC performance. You’ll partner with the founders to scale the business, optimise performance, and prepare for investment or exit.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance & Commercial
- Own financial strategy, forecasting, cashflow, and board reporting
- Build scalable, growth‑focused financial frameworks
- Develop investor‑ready models and insights
- Drive decisions using DTC performance and profitability data
- Operations & Stock
- Lead supply chain, fulfilment, inventory, and logistics
- Build a responsive, scalable stock function
- Implement efficient, customer‑focused processes
- DTC Performance
- Own key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, AOV, retention, etc.)
- Partner with growth and product teams to scale profitably
- Act as a key partner to founders and investors
- Support investment or exit planning and execution
- Help define and deliver the 24‑month roadmap
Who You Are
A commercially driven CFO/COO with experience in DTC or high‑growth consumer brands. You’re comfortable at board level, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and bring a proven track record in scaling businesses and supporting investment or exit events. You challenge the status quo, think strategically, and are motivated to build a bold, distinctive brand.
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office/2 days at home)
Package: Six figure salary, bonus, equity package
