Luxury WW Designer / Product Developer for a British luxury brand expanding their design team. This role is a hybrid designer/developer position, working closely with the Design Director and Founder to bring ideas into production with precision and creativity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a founder-led brand environment where design is directly translated into production, including trims and technical details. You should be highly skilled in product development, innovative in design, and practical in execution, able to balance creativity with commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Founder and Design Director to develop and execute creative concepts.
  • Contribute original ideas to the overarching creative direction, ensuring the product feels fresh, relevant, and commercially strong.
  • Ensure all designs are production-ready, checking trims, details, and technical specifications.
  • Source materials and techniques on time, providing clear and complete design information for factories.
  • Support fittings and follow styles through from sketch to production, ensuring all designs are fully defined and developed.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge of garment construction.
  • Refine existing designs and introduce practical innovation, balancing creativity with production-focused practicality.
  • Work with Italian factories (approximately 2x per year) to maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Support a freelance CAD assistant as required.

  • Experience in a founder-led premium-luxury or mid-market brand.
  • Proven track record of designing directly into production.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fit, trims, and production processes.
  • Ability to refine ideas in a consultative way, ensuring designs are commercially viable.
  • Commercially minded, able to respond quickly to business and market needs.
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with the Founder and broader team.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CAD.
  • Strong team player, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
