Consumer Additions are currently partnered with a premium retail business who are looking to invest in a newly created role – Head of E-Commerce.
This role will be crucial to the business continuing their impressive scaling and be at the forefront of building their strategy for online trading as well as their consumer centric UX experience.
The role will be based in the office 4 times per week in central London and manage a team of 6 people whilst reporting into C-Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and lead a strategic plan to enhance the digital user experience. Ensure the website embodies the company's brand values and is optimised for all customer journey stages—discovery, consideration, and conversion. Focus on driving customer acquisition and retention through UX improvements, such as loyalty initiatives and personalised experiences.
- Manage daily trading activities to drive website sales and key performance indicators (KPIs). Leverage analytics and customer feedback to refine strategies and drive improvements.
- Oversee the website development roadmap and budget. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement updates and enhancements that improve functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver a seamless customer experience by connecting physical retail environments with the digital journey.
- Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing e-commerce team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with teams across technology, retail, marketing, product, and creative functions to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints. Collaborate with internal tech teams and external web development partners as key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, continuously identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance the company's online presence.
