Design Assistant – Lifestyle Brand.
Global fashion brand is looking for a Design Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. You\’ll support the Design Team and the wider Product Team, reporting directly to our Senior Designer. Covering multi-category clothing and accessories across Womenswear, Menswear, and Kidswear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain technical design files.
- Work on design briefs set by the Senior Designer and Head of Product.
- Provide administrative support to the design and product team.
- Assist in CAD and design development for Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear.
- Conduct trend research, compiling reports on key insights and inspirations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with factories and suppliers.
- Monitor critical paths and key deadlines.
- Co-ordinate sample shipments to factories and customers.
- Prepare for sign-off meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the buying and technical teams to align designs with business objectives.
Key Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understanding of print and graphic design and a keen eye for trends and colour.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.
- Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
