Job Overview
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Airport Cleaning Operatives to join our terminal services team. You will be the face of the airport, ensuring that passengers have a world-class experience in a clean, safe, and hygienic environment. This role is fast-paced and essential to the 24/7 operation of London's busiest travel hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Terminal Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining high-traffic areas including departure lounges, check-in desks, and arrival halls.
- Washroom Hygiene: Ensuring all restroom facilities are cleaned, disinfected, and restocked to a high standard throughout the shift.
- Waste Management: Emptying bins, recycling properly, and ensuring floors are free of litter and spillages.
- Specialist Cleaning: Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners (training provided).
- Security Awareness: Remaining vigilant and reporting any unattended baggage or suspicious activity to Airport Security immediately.
- Customer Service: Providing friendly assistance to passengers who may have questions about directions or facilities.
