Are you a qualified accountant looking for a senior finance role where you can make a real impact? We are looking for a hands-on, strategic Head of Finance to lead and develop a dynamic UK finance team, drive process improvements, and support key business decisions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing business, overseeing financial consolidation, reporting, and planning across multiple sites, while helping shape the way the finance function adds value to the wider organisation.

Working alongside a Finance Director and Financial Controller, you will be joining a business and a team that values integrity, collaboration, and innovation. This role offers real autonomy, the chance to influence strategic decisions, and a supportive team that thrives on developing talent and improving financial processes.
What you will be doing:
- Leading month-end, quarter-end, forecast, and budget submissions across UK operations and producing consolidated results with clear analysis.
- Preparing weekly cash flow reporting and managing funding requirements.
- Overseeing audits, both interim and year-end.
- Driving standardisation, process improvement, and best practice within UK finance.
- Supporting divisional managers with financial understanding, action plans, and compliance.
- Identifying areas for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and business risk mitigation.
- Enhancing the use of ERP systems (SAP S4/Hana desirable) for accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Mentoring and developing the finance team to improve capability and engagement.
- Deputising for the European FD when required.
To be a success you will need:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Experience in treasury, cost accounting, and consolidating financial results.
- Knowledge of FX impacts on financial statements and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Results-driven, hands-on, ethical, and creative problem solver.
- Experience in driving process improvements is highly desirable.
