This role is designed for a Java Full Stack Engineer with a background in management or technical consultancy. The successful candidate will deliver large-scale, user-centred digital services within complex UK Public Sector environments, ensuring alignment with central government standards and mission-critical objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot as the core technology stack.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle within a multi-disciplinary consultancy team, including researchers, designers, and product owners.
- Build and integrate secure APIs and develop responsive front-end applications using React or Angular.
- Navigate complex client architectures to implement cloud-native solutions, primarily on AWS or Azure.
- Provide technical advisory to stakeholders, translating complex requirements into maintainable, clean code.
