Senior Manager - Capital Markets

A leading global management consulting firm is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to join its Capital Markets Practice , focusing on Risk & Regulatory Change . This role offers an opportunity to lead complex business transformation initiatives within the Investment Banking sector , advising Tier 1 institutions on critical regulatory and operational challenges.

As a key member of the practice, you will work with front, middle, and back-office teams , delivering strategic and operational improvements that ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while enhancing business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale risk and regulatory transformation programmes within investment banking.
• Advise on and implement compliance frameworks for key regulatory initiatives, including MiFID II, EMIR, and SFTR .
• Provide strategic insights on risk management, governance, and compliance within capital markets.
• Support clients in navigating regulatory developments and evolving market structures.
• Drive thought leadership in sustainability, ESG, and digital assets within capital markets.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Capital Markets , with a strong background in risk, regulatory change, and compliance .
• Proven track record in a management consulting environment, advising Tier 1 investment banks.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, and Basel regulations .
• Experience delivering business transformation and operational improvement initiatives within financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work at C-suite and senior executive levels.
