A leading global strategy consulting firm is expanding its Private Equity Value Creation practice and is seeking an Equity Partner to help build and lead this capability from the UK. This role sits at the intersection of strategy consulting and private equity, advising leading PE firms, strategic investors, and their portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle.
You will work closely with private equity clients and portfolio company leadership teams to drive value creation from entry through to exit. This includes shaping investment theses, accelerating operational improvements during the holding period, and supporting exit strategies. The practice combines deep consulting expertise with proprietary tools and investment cycle methodologies to help investors maximise value from their portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Advise private equity firms and strategic investors across the full investment lifecycle
- Lead value creation programmes within portfolio companies by delivering measurable EBITDA improvements working directly with CFOs, COOs and investment teams.
- Support commercial due diligence, investment strategy, and post acquisition transformation
- Work directly with investors and executive teams to drive operational and strategic improvements
- Contribute to the development of proprietary approaches and tools supporting PE investment strategies
- Minimum 10 years of experience within a Tier 1 strategy consulting firm
- Strong track record advising private equity investors and portfolio companies
- Experience leading value creation initiatives across multiple sectors
- Proven ability to develop senior client relationships and originate new work
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help build and scale a new practice area
